About the Role:

We are seeking a Part Time Assistant Teacher to join our team in the afternoons at Primrose School of Naperville Crossings. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. (More hours are available if desired.)

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
Supervise and engage with children during playtime and outdoor activities
Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes, diapering and nap time
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on children's progress

Requirements:

Previous experience working with young children preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary certifications
Positive and nurturing demeanor with strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from lead teacher
