About the Role:
Join the Primrose School of Naperville Crossings as a Two Year Old Preschool Lead Teacher, where you will nurture young minds in a fun and engaging environment. We are looking for passionate educators who are excited to inspire creativity and foster a love for learning in our little ones.
The is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for two-year-old children.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that encourage exploration and discovery.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and daily activities.
- Assess and document children's development and milestones regularly.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom dynamics.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent required. (Must be lead teacher qualified in the State of Illinois.)
- Previous experience working with young children, especially in a preschool setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Background check and references required upon hiring.
